2nd Amendment

The Second Amendment (Amendment II) to the United States Constitution is the part of theUnited States Bill of Rights that states: "A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed."

Recently I've seen many comments on how the 2nd amendment  to the constitution is outdated and was written in a time where certain guns were needed only for hunting and nothing else. So now that food is readily available for most people in the US we don't need guns anymore...

You'll note the 2nd amendment mentions nothing about hunting but does mention a regulated militia necessary to the security of a free state. Our rights to keep and bear arms has nothing to do w/ providing food but with ensuring security!

So the next time you hear someone try to use this excuse on you for getting rid of or making guns illegal, remind them of the exact wording of the constitution and remember what it means!!! It's their rights as well as yours that you are fighting for. Maybe they don't think so but it is true...

I'm not good at writing or speaking but I am good at reading and for this argument that is all you really need to do.
